REBECCA M. RANDLES concentrates her practice in the areas of psychiatric and mental health issues including psychiatric malpractice, sexual abuse cases, employment law and mental health care.   She has written extensively on mental health issues with more than six publications in national legal and medical journals including William & Mary Law Journal, Oklahoma Law Journal, ATLA Negligence Law Reporter and the AMA Journal.  She is a frequent speaker to educational organizations, patients’ groups and mental health providers regarding psychiatric and legal issues.  She is licensed in Missouri, Kansas and Massachusetts, and practices before the Eighth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals and the Districts of Kansas and Western District of Missouri.  She is a member of the Missouri and Kansas bar associations, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.  She is active in the community  and serves as a trustee for Southweat Baptist University.

LUIS MATA has been a public interest lawyer for many years and has been involved in civil rights class action work as well as legislative initiatives.  He was instrumental in raising consciousness about domestic violence, culminating in the adult abuse act passed in Kansas.  In his private practice, Mr. Mata continues his work on behalf of working individuals who have been subjected to discriminatory practices in their employment as well as social security disability and workers’ compensation for those who have been injured or are unable to work due to disability.  He is licensed in Missouri, Kansas and Florida and practices before the Eight and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals and Districts of Kansas and Western District of Missouri.  He is a member of the Missouri and Kansas bar associations, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Wyandotte County Bar Association.

 SARAH A. BROWN is a civil litigation attorney who, since 1994, has focused her practice on employment and personal injury cases.  She has represented individuals and businesses with respect to claims involving wrongful termination as well as harassment, retaliation, and discriminatory practices based on sex, race, age, disability and other protected classes.  She also has experience in personal injury, malpractice and other tort law cases.  She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri, and practices in both state and federal courts in those jurisdictions.  Sarah is a member of The Missouri Bar, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Kansas Association for Justice (KTLA), and local Bar Associations.  She served on the Board for Kansas Legal Services (1997-1999) and Wyandotte-Leavenworth Legal Services (1986-1999).  In 2000, she was a co-author of the chapter on Discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act for the Missouri Bar’s publication Missouri Employment Discrimination. She has been a speaker or panelist at numerous litigation and employment CLE seminars.

DAN CURRY is a University of Missouri-Kansas City law school graduate who joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2006 after clerking for two years.  During that time Dan has advocated on behalf of many victims of childhood sexual abuse.  Dan formerly worked as a newspaper reporter and English teacher, obtaining a Master's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.  In addition to writing for the Wall Street Journal, the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Independence Examiner, Dan has co-edited the News Reporters Handbook available online at the Missouri Bar website.  Dan is married with one child and another on the way.  In his spare time he goes running and builds wood-frired pizza ovens.
